The Cerastes cerastes snake, commonly named as the Saharan horned viper or also the horned desert viper, it’s one of the venomous viper that belongs to the Viperidae family, native to North Africa and some parts of the Middle East deserts. The Cerastes cerastes snake is easy to recognize by the existence of two horns over supraocular.
The Cerastes Cerastes snake average length including body and tail is within 30 to 85 cm, the females are taller in length than males, but the males have larger eyes and larger heads than the females.
